Yield

If you use both tools, you know the friction: Forecast tells you what you planned, Harvest tells you what you tracked, and figuring out where you actually stand means flipping between the two all week. Yield does that reconciliation for you and keeps the answer in your menu bar — which projects have hours left, which are over, how today fits into the week — so it's easier to decide what to work on next. When you're ready, you can start or stop a Harvest timer right from the dropdown.

What it does

Full-featured Harvest time tracker — start, stop, pause, resume, edit, delete without leaving the menu bar.
Move time off a runaway timer — sat through a meeting on the wrong timer? Shift the minutes where they belong, keep timing or switch.
Meeting-start prompts — when a calendar event begins, Yield offers to start its timer and back-fill the minutes since it started; let a meeting timer run long and it offers to move the overage too.
Color-coded progress per project — under, on-track, or over your booked hours, at a glance.
Expand any project for a day-by-day breakdown of the week's hours.
Log time from a Google Calendar event — today's schedule as a mini day view, one click to start a timer or log the meeting.
